KZ UK is a very fast gearbox class. The 125cc water cooled engines have six gears, sequentially operated like motorcycle using a gear-lever mounted next to the steering wheel. 0-60mph times are less than 4 seconds, top speed is 90mph on short circuit, 110 - 120mph on long circuit. The ABkC championship is promoted by the NKF.

Rotax Max the senior equivalent of Junior Max, with a very powerful 125cc TAG engine. Although the maximum revs are limited electronically, they are nearly as quick as KZ UK, but much lower maintenance, and sealed to prevent unapproved tuning.

For 8-13 years old. The IAME category uses a sealed 60cc Iame Parilla Gazelle UK engine which has been chosen by Motorsports UK to be the premier cadet class and used in the Cadet British Championship. Approx top speed 60mph.

The Bambino class uses a very small kart with a Comer C50 engine, registered with the importers Zip Kart. The tyres are all weather Le Cont, meaning that separate slick and wet rain tyres are not required. Top speed is about 38mph.
